What Are Western Values, Anyway?

I live in what many call “The West,” where we apparently do “Western Things” and uphold “Western Values.”

You know what Western Values are, right? What’s that? Oh you don’t? That might be why you clicked on this article. Very well then. Let’s attempt to define what people mean when they say “Western Values,” and whether that phrase really makes sense.
